I would like to thank www.sewingblue.com for letting me join this blog hop. The pattern was generously donated to us by www.gyctdesigns.com. this pattern is the primary tee pattern. We were asked to change up the pattern in some way, by adding color blocking, applique, embroidery, whatever. My original plan was to do some applique, but I started late. I was in the process of finishing a baptism dress for my granddaughter. So, I decided to do the sleeves in a different color.
I love this pattern. I was having issues last night with my serger, and that is why the hem is a bit wavy. Doesn't it seem like things go wrong when you are in a big hurry?
This pattern is very easy to stitch up and honestly stitches up fast. I am going to be making more of these. In fact, I may go home and cut some out after work today.

Looks great, Kathy! I love adding striped sleeves to tees. It looks so classy! And a good ironing always fixes any wavy issues. ;)ReplyDelete
Ugh, sorry about your serger acting up! Hopefully your iron will get the hem flat enough! I love the stripes!!ReplyDelete
So fun! I like the different fabric on the sleeves! It's definitely a fun way to change up a basic pattern.ReplyDelete
I love this so much, the contrast sleeves are such a great way to use up those smaller pieces of fabric that I just can’t throw away!ReplyDelete
I like different sleeves than the rest of the shirt.
